While Spring is coming to an end in about 30 days, the London weather is still unpredictable some days it’s sunny, some are rainy. Overall temperature, are still a bit cold especially in the morning. For this reason I wanted to share 3 of my fashion must-haves for the remaining couple weeks of uncertain weather.
It’s part of my survival kit for the mornings where I cycle to work and think that because the sun is out, the weather will be warm. Or maybe it’s because I’m now 30 and once you reach this age a free cardigan is giving to you. Anyway, for me it has now become a staple for my spring wardrobe even more that I work from home more often, so it helps me look business ready even if I’m wearing the most awful pants and t-shirt.
The other advantage is that it makes any basic outfit look expensive!
I recently bought a couple of cotton-blend cardigans from Uniqlo on Vinted for a less than 10 pounds each.

Rule 2: A leather jacket or trench coat, you’ll need.
One statement outerwear piece that makes you look like you planned the outfit, even if you didn’t. Any bad outfits can be hidden under a long trench. My one and only trench coat for the past 5 years is a vintage piece from Burberry that I bought in a thrift shop in Paris. The best 200-something euros I’ve ever spent in fashion. No regret whatsoever.

Rule 3: one colourful bag to bring the joy back.
If there’s one accessory that needs to be colourful in my outft it always start with my bag!
That’s my little fashion “fun touch”, when I’m not wearing any colour or to just lift up my mood and summon the sun. To be fair, that has been my motto when buying bags for a while, I probably own only one or two black bags, the rest are bags or colour.
